A content manager with a decade-plus of experience crafting creative copy, leading teams of writers and editors, and leading SEO strategy, I’ve adapted to content needs across disparate industries, from the automotive and Texas deregulated energy industries to wedding and elopement photography.
I’m as comfortable honing microcopy as I am researching long-form blog content, as capable leading content teams as I am helming the content strategy.
I’m currently pursuing freelance opportunities, but would consider full-time roles.
In my most recent role as a Content Manager for Home Energy Club, I managed a team of five freelance writers, two editors and two virtual assistants, publishing compelling deregulated energy articles across several domains, including USAToday, MarketWatch, Home Energy Club, EcoWatch, and This Old House.
While the content we produced is no longer hosted on USAToday or MarketWatch, meeting the rigorous editorial standards for these publications and securing editor and contributing writer bylines with them is one of my proudest accomplishments.
Formerly, I was a senior UX copywriter at Discount Tire, where I led the website copy team, crafting the content strategy, managing the brand voice, and leading SEO content efforts. During my time in this role, I oversaw email campaigns that contributed to a 38% growth in email revenue. Prior to that, I was the Discount Tire Advertising Copywriter, writing and editing radio and television ads, social media copy and more.
